James Randi

James Randi began his career as a magician under the stage name "The Amazing Randi" and later chose to devote most of his time to investigating paranormal, occult, and supernatural claims, which he collectively calls "woo-woo". He has written about paranormal phenomena, skepticism, and the history of magic. He as a frequent guest on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson", famously exposing fraudulent faith healer Peter Popoff, and was occasionally featured on the television program "Penn & Teller: Bullshit!".

Stephen Hawking

Stephen Hawking (1942-2018) was a British theoretical physicist, cosmologist, and author, widely regarded as one of the most brilliant scientists of his time. He is best known for his work on black holes, particularly his discovery that they emit radiation, now called Hawking radiation. Despite being diagnosed with ALS at age 21, which left him almost completely paralyzed, he continued to make groundbreaking contributions to physics.
